More informationThe special feature of the asiento is its backrest, which consists of several elasticated elements and an innovative 3D knitted membrane. This innovative solution not only guarantees greater sitting comfort, but also optimum freedom of movement while sitting. The principle is based on three elastic support elements with different spring forces, which extend from the lumbar region over the back torso to the shoulders. This structure ensures optimum back support in any sitting position.
The 3D knitted membrane is precisely customised to the backrest and seat. In the various back zones, the 3D knitted membrane is designed to optimally support the flexible functions of the backrest. It is tighter in the lumbar area than in the shoulder area, forming a perfect symbiosis with the backrest construction for maximum sitting comfort. The 3D knitted membrane also contributes to sustainability by helping to minimise waste and excess material. The precise, customised production of the backrest and seat cushion in Germany ensures that only the yarn that is actually needed is used.
